Introduction

Established in 1990 by Samuel R. Shapiro and Michael A. McCarthy.  Louis S. Shapiro joined the firm in 1992, and Harry Shapiro in 2005. The investment professionals have 113 years of collective investment experience as of 2022. The investment team had been without turnover for 31 years, prior to Sam Shapiro’s passing in December 2021.

Objective:  Seek to achieve long-term returns greater than competitive indices while assuming below market risk as measured by beta.
